Our lessons together are structured around you; my aim is to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to achieve your potential in music; to discover and develop your own unique voice and structure ways of sharing and connecting with others. I am available for lessons all week; Monday-Sunday, whatever best suits your schedule. I am able to travel to your home, studio or teach online.
Music is language and my role as a great teacher is to inspire and guide your enthusiasm for music towards a freedom in fluency; having great conversations about learning + music is to me at the heart of building a great relationship with your instrument.

I am a freelance British bassist, composer and teacher currently based in London + East Anglia. As a Jazz Studies alumnus to California Institute of The Arts and Creative Music Technology graduate of the UK's #1 Arts University, [First-Class Hons, Falmouth University 2017] I have studied with world-renowned bassists Alphonso Johnson [Weather Report] & Darek Oleszkiewicz [Brad Mehldau, Pat Metheny.]
Whilst specialising in improvised music, I have worked alongside artists including Lily Lyons [Sony BB] and established musicians such as Michael Chapman, Stephen Duffy [Duran Duran, The Lilac Time] and award-winning film-writer and director Douglas Arrowsmith; with experience ranging from studio session work to pit orchestras of Quadrophenia, Grease and Hello Dolly!
In Spring 2018 I became a composer in residence at The Pimlott Foundation and began working with Fleece Jazz as a live-sound engineer.
My debut album of improvised duets was released through Salt House Recordings in April 2019 with a follow up live-EP released in April 2020 -----
