Are you an adult who has always wanted to learn, but so far have not had the opportunity?
Do you have a child who is pestering you for lessons, or is showing an interest in playing a musical instrument?
Have you or your child had lessons in the past but stopped learning for whatever reason?
Maybe now is the time to explore the joy of learning to play the piano, or rekindle that enthusiasm you once had.
Learning piano is a joy - exploring new music, exploring how to create music yourself, exploring the incredibly diverse repertoire the piano has to offer, the beautiful sounds a piano can make.
What can I offer you?
The chance to learn with an experienced and patient (in the words of many a student over the years!) guide, who has taught people from a young age right through until their 80s over the years, from beginner through to diploma standard.
The chance to learn through a process which is unique and tailor-made to you - because no 2 students are ever the same.
The chance to learn with someone who studied at one of the worlds top music colleges, yet who loves teaching the young beginner just as much as the diploma student destined for a career in music.
The chance, as an adult, to learn with someone who has always enjoyed working with adult students as well as children and teens.
A bit about me:
I qualified from The Royal Academy of Music, and am a member of EPTA.
Now settled in Lincolnshire, my teaching has previously been in Cumbria and Scotland, where I have also taught in schools as well as having my private teaching practice.
Lessons are offered right through from Beginner to Diploma level.
Some of my students have pursued a career in music, going on to further studies at places including Oxford University, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and even as far as Berklee College in Boston USA.
